This passage from Ephesians is often used as a reason for staunch Christianity (and I realize I am cherry picking a single phrase), but I think it is more important to remember as what we need to fight for Ephesians 6:12 (partial):
our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark worldThe psalm makes a good prayer for anyone reading the news this week (or really paying attention ever):
- Psalm 125:4-54 Lord, do good to those who are good,
to those who are upright in heart.
5 But those who turn to crooked ways
the Lord will banish with the evildoers.
